Like many Maladaptive Daydreamers Ashleigh decided to address her imagination by channeling it into writing.
I finally put my excessive daydreaming to good use and wrote a book… I’ve lived in this fantasy world for twenty+ years and never once considered becoming a writer, but someone suggested writing might help to get the daydreams out of my head. It didn’t really help me to stop daydreaming but I found a new passion instead and now I feel like the last twenty years has not been a total waste of time. I feel like it was all worth it.
