But when you go to a therapist, remember that he is not a sorcerer and won’t solve all the problems with a magic wand. You need to be an active part of the change. In fact, healing and getting better aren't something that falls from above. It is very much upon you, you have to decide if you really want that change. MD Inspires New Bastille Album

Bastille’s new album is out later this year via EMI Records Strangely, given the record’s zeitgeisty theme, it began life before “coronavirus” was a word in our everyday vocabularies. The album’s genesis came from a show Smith saw about maladaptive daydreaming – intense daydreams that interfere with day-to-day life – at Edinburgh Festival 2019. “This comedian was talking about childhood trauma really openly – it was basically about abuse,” he explains. “He was talking about maladaptive daydreaming, which is something that I’d never heard of, but the way he dealt with his trauma was by essentially living a parallel life in his daydreams for hours and hours per day.”https://www.nme.com/features/bastille-new-album-2021-ryan-tedder-3026534 To read the full article click HERE. ...

Sub poised for revival. r/MaDDSolutions was made about a year ago as a place for those wanting to proactively address their Maladaptive Daydreaming to discuss their methods, tips, successes and struggles without sifting through the more general content and questions allowed on r/maladaptivedreaming. Unfortunately it never quite took off. So the Mod there has shifted management to the larger subreddit, hoping a stronger affiliation will breathe life back into this community. We are looking to build a mod team there, we will need people willing to:Build the sub by giving it an identity; a wiki, sidebar, rules, mission statement etcSet pace and tone by providing content in the form of posts and comments.General mod duties of handling reports and ensuring content meets sub guidelines...
